Vans proved that checkerboard shirts can be cool. It was up to me how to figure out how to make it less cool. I settled on cheese. To ensure the vibe of the shirt fit Dantsu, we made the buttons match her gold accents, and added an embroidered patch on the lower right of the shirt which represents her belt buckle.
